1. Services Provided
Blue Stars Medical Transportation provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services only. Our services are intended for scheduled, routine, or assisted transportation to and from medical appointments and related destinations. We do not provide emergency medical services. In case of a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
2. Eligibility & Booking
Clients must provide accurate and complete information when booking transportation.
Transportation may be requested by the client, a caregiver, a medical facility, or an authorized third party.
We reserve the right to refuse service if provided information is incomplete, inaccurate, or if the request falls outside our service scope.
3. Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows
Advance scheduling is recommended to ensure availability.
Cancellations must be made within the timeframe specified at booking.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in cancellation fees.
Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of services.
4. Payment Terms
Payment methods accepted include cash, credit/debit cards, electronic payments, or approved third-party payers.
Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking or service.
Additional charges may apply for wait time, additional stops, after-hours service, or special assistance.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Be ready at the scheduled pickup time.
Ensure a safe pickup and drop-off location.
Inform us in advance of special needs, mobility aids, or escorts.
Treat drivers and staff with respect.
We reserve the right to terminate service for unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate behavior.
6. Medical Disclaimer
Our drivers are not medical professionals.
We do not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
Clients must be medically stable and fit for transport.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blue Stars Medical Transportation shall not be liable for:
Delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.
Missed appointments due to such delays.
Loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the transportation service in question.
8. Insurance
Blue Stars Medical Transportation maintains required commercial auto insurance in accordance with applicable state and local regulations.
